My name is Dome (he/him). I love drawing and making comics. I picked up drawing as a hobby years ago while finishing up my undergrad degree. As I became disillusioned with working a normal job, I simultaneously fell more and more in love with drawing and making comics. I eventually decided I wanted to pursue making comics and illustrations as a career path.
I'm the kind of comic artist and illustrator who likes working fairly spontaneously, and without much thinking or planning. I love to sketch and doodle, often starting a page by just making random marks and then turning them into something interesting and recognizable. I carry sketchbooks and pencils with me just about everywhere, and draw in them whenever and wherever I find a moment.
Some of my favorite comics and manga are Girls' Last Tour, Blame!, Usagi Yojimbo, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Bone, Megatokyo, and Wandering Island.
My favorite games include Final Fantasy VI and VII, Chrono Trigger, Super Metroid, Sekiro, Castlevania Symphony of the Night, and Portal 2.
A few of my favorite artists include Tsutomu Nihei, Kenji Tsuruta, Hayao Miyazaki, Tsukumizu, Mark Crilley, Shilin, Mira Ong Chua, Yoshitaka Amano, Ruan Jia, Frank Frazetta, Rembrandt, Evan Lee, Puppeteer Lee, Guweiz, and Sparth.
